Breastfeeding Centre of Western Australia

The Centre is available to mothers who attended King Edward Memorial Hospital for Women (KEMH) for their pregnancy and birth. Coming to the centre enables a mother and her baby/babies to spend up to 6 hours overcoming breastfeeding difficulties with the help of a midwife or lactation consultant.  The centre also offers a telephone service for breastfeeding problems.

Ngala has been providing help for parents and their children for more than 100 years. The name Ngala (an Aboriginal word of the Bibbulmun dialect meaning "we two") reflects the organisation's core mission - to help strengthen the bond between parents and their children.
